My Training

In train and around Scottsdale and Phoenix AZ. I ride on South Mountain for hill workouts. I have a loop of Scottsdale that I do when I need a long ride.

I lift, swim and do spin classes at a local gym.

I run either on a dirt oval or low-traffic surface streets.

I've swam at home, the gym and local desert lakes. Desert lakes? Really? Yep. Really.

I recommend masters swim courses, swim instruction and run gait analysis. I came to triathlon from cycling, so I am familiar with the bike. If you are not as familiar ... find a bike store with a great repair team. I use both Bike Barn and Sunday Cycles in Phoenix.
